Gumtree, what have they got against MLM ads?

People looking in vain for jobs in these difficult times are increasingly looking for self-employment opportunites in the UK and overseas.
Why then do sites such as Gumtree, Vivastreet and others block legitimate MLM and network marketing organisations from advertising with them, lumping them together with illegal pyramid schemes?
This is grossly unfair both to the employment seekers and to the potential advertisers and is preventing people from finding a new route to gainful employment.
And isn't there a touch of hypocrisy too in that they will allow sponsored ads from big organisations such as Avon, not known for it's generosity to it's loyal band of sales agents and distributors.
There is also the question of the effectiveness of advertising on these sites, they may be relatively inexpensive but just how many people will see a particular ad, truth is, not many.
Come back the old Exchange and Mart where for a relatively small fee you could advertise almost anything and your ad could be seen and read by people for an extended time unlike the online classifieds where only those people with infinitesimal patience are likely to come across one's ad.
To hell with Gumtree! If you happen to be looking for a simple legitimate, low cost opportunity in perfumes and cosmetics with the added extras of home, car and petcare thrown in why not take a look at a short video, it could be the best ten minutes of your life you will ever spend. To view the video please click here
